Player evaluations for Babe Ruth and Colt will be held on Saturday, March 13 at Severn River MS and Magothy River
MS from 2 - 4 pm.
Please make every effort to come for the session this Saturday.
Bring your baseball glove. Wear rubber shoes, since at least some of the evaluations will be in the gym. You
may bring a bat, if you have one, too.
There will be a check-in table at the gym entrance on Saturday. Please
stop there first so that you can get the evaluation number and be directed to the location.
The evaluations serve
to help us assign players to teams so that the teams are all as equally balanced as we can make them. The teams will
be assigned next week, and then practices will begin at the end of March. Players from all divisions (except t-ball)
will be evaluated at designated times on March 13.
If a player wishes to be evaluated for pitching, please tell
one of the coaches during the time you are on the field. If you do not wish to have a coach watch you pitch, that is
fine.
For those of you who CANNOT come on March 13, there will be a make-up date on Sunday, March 14 at 2 PM
at Arnold Park (weather permitting). If a player does not come for an evaluation, I will place him randomly on a team
after other players have been assigned based on evaluation data.
In any e-mail communication with questions,
include the player’s name and the division name (Rookies, Minors, etc).
If weather is a problem on Sunday,
we will also try to send out a mass email to alert you about any change in plans because of weather or bad field conditions.
